Luggage Free in Costa Rica

We arrived in Costa Rica to find that the bulk of our personal luggage had gone on a different trip.

Fortunately we carry-on most of the TV gear.

As it turned out it wasn't a big deal right away, because there was a weight restriction on our boat sojourn out to the Turtle grounds in Tortuguerro.  We couldn't take much anyway.

We returned to San Jose, and were re-united with our bags just in time to board a flight in these little planes- allowed only 25 Lbs per person.

Our TV stuff weighs more than that, so we had to leave all our luggage behind again.

Good thing it's a tropical country where a t-shirt, shorts and flip-flops will do most days and nights.

We finally hooked up with our luggage-
just in time to rent a bunch of tiny 4X4s
for the cross-country trip to La Fortuna.
