Feature artist Opshop from the New Zealand episode have recently been nominated for several Vodaphone New Zealand Music Awards. Album of the Year for Second Hand Planet, Best Group, Best Rock Album and their single Maybe (featured in the New Zealand Part 2 Episode is nominated for Song of the Year. Opshop is also a finalist in the People's Choice Category.
The awards will be held on October 18th. Why not email Opshop at opshopmusic.com and wish them well from Canada?

Why isnt this band playing in Canada? They ROCK. 7 Nominations for the New Zealand Music Awards, AMAZING!!! Great show today, I smiled the whole way thru!

Me too! I think the sheep shearing section was really good but the Swoop was crazy funny. I could listen to Opshop all day.

I can't stop listening to them either. The show rocked, New Zealand is so beautiful. I like the swooping and THE sheep shearer!! lol Awesome episode!

Hi Shea,

My name is Greg, and I think your show is cool. It must be great to be able to meet bands that no one hear has heard of yet. Opshop is a great band - I think they are my new favourite band! Do you know if they are planning to come and visit Canada? Maybe even Winnipeg? If they are, could you please let me know?
