A bit out-of-the-way, but Costa Rica is not to be missed if you ever get the chance. Warm climate, warm people. A little bit of Spanish would be handy, but not absolutely necessary. This is the home of ecotourism. Hike around in the bush, go for a raft trip- there's a waterfall, or an iguana or a sloth right around the corner. I shot a TON of incredible footage while we were there.
